CrewKite 0.1.0
Every build comes from the GitHub release, with its SHA-256 checksum beside it. Each provider still needs its own client signed in on your computer.
What's new in 0.1.0
The first public version. Read the release notes for the full list.
Updates: choose Check for Updates in the app menu (Help on Linux), then download the new version from this page. CrewKite also checks once a day.
- Crews: give each role its own provider, model and effort, and let roles start subagents.
- Limit handoff: when a provider runs out of included allowance, the thread moves to the next connected provider with its messages and edited files.
- Allowances in view: the rail shows each provider's usage windows and reset times, and the kite meter shows what the next message will use.
- Credits stay off: Allow credit spending is off by default for OpenAI and Anthropic.
- Your checkout stays as it is: each thread works in its own copy, and you accept the changes.
- Run tests runs your project's test command in the thread's copy, with no model turn and no credits.
- Connect each provider once. CrewKite reconnects on its own after a restart, Local included.
macOS
For Macs with Apple silicon. Intel Macs are not built.
Signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple.

- Drag CrewKite into Applications.
- On first launch, connect each provider once in Settings. After that CrewKite reconnects on its own.
Linux preview
The DEB is tested on Ubuntu 24.04 on x64 and arm64, including desktop launch and reopen with the normal Chromium sandbox. The RPM is tested on Fedora 45 for install, headless runtime and the CLI; desktop launch on Fedora is not tested yet.
OpenAI, Anthropic and Local run on Linux. Google is not on Linux.

Verify the download
Download SHA256SUMS into the same folder, then check the file before you open it. On macOS, check the signature too once CrewKite is in Applications.
